Vanishing Viscosity
摘要
In this chapter we present the vanishing viscosity approach to the existence issue. It is based on a parabolic approximation of the hyperbolic equation. It is interesting for the reminiscence of the convergence of the Navier-Stokes equations towards the Euler ones in fluid-dynamics. Moreover, it gives precious hints on the convergence analysis of numerical schemes.
