Review on Computer Painting Based on Artificial Intelligence

At present, AI products using deep learning technology have exceeded the level of experts in go competitions, cancer diagnosis, and so on, which has triggered a boom in artificial intelligence. Computers can create paintings differently from the past through independent learning. As a booming field, computer painting art is known by more and more people and many scholars are interested in it. This paper summarizes the development of computer painting and points out the existing problems of computer painting. Through analysis and discussion, this paper considers computer art that has some shortcomings in emotional expression and cognition of the world, but it has already had some creativity. Finally, the development trend of computer painting has prospected.
