Research on the Spatial Spillover Effect of Digital Economy on Science and Technology Innovation
摘要
Economic development is increasingly being driven by the digital economy. According to the Moran index and the spatial Moran model, the mixed panel data of 31 provinces from 2013 to 2020 is used to examine the regional spillover impact of a high-level digital economy on the advancement of science and technology. The findings of this study demonstrate a strong spatial association between the amount of digital economy development and scientific and technological innovation; the degree of the digital economy in different regions has a negative spatial spillover effect on scientific and technical innovation, while the digital economy considerably encourages the growth of this sector. Furthermore, based on the findings above, this paper proposes: while developing exchanges and cooperation between different regions, it is necessary to take advantage of the unique innovation advantages of each province; encourage the thorough fusion of the real economy with the digital economy; and maximize the use of market data.
