Discrete Event System Specification for Same-Span Interaction of Multi-agents in Slab Warehouse
摘要
The efficient functioning of slab warehouses is crucial for the smooth operation of the process in the steel production. Utilizing modeling and simulation methods for studying complex warehouse scheduling offers higher efficiency and lower costs compared to relying solely on on-site experiments. However, to enhance the generalization of simulation applications and increase the potential for productization, it is essential to go beyond the simulation tools themselves and abstract the essential characteristics of the system into descriptive models. To achieve this goal, this paper proposes a DEVS description based on the simulation of steel plant's slab warehouse scheduling. This specification focuses on the state changes and communication interactions between different agents within the same span in the slab warehouse, providing coupled models for the agents and interactions between different agents. We hope that through the work of this paper, the dynamic simulation examples that the author has completed can be taken one step further towards productization.
