A Case Study of Optimal Capacity Calculation Through the Composition and Optimal Operation Strategy of the Integrated Energy Supply System for Energy Independence

This paper presents the configuration of a system that can respond to electricity and heat demand using only renewable energy generation sources, an hourly optimal operation plan, and a method for calculating the optimal capacity for each facility. The system responds to demand by converting electricity into hydrogen and heat and stores the remaining energy. The system derives an optimal operating plan with the goal of maximizing energy usage efficiency. The optimal capacity of each facility within the system is calculated by tracking the maximum facility usage through the obtained system operation plan. We present the simplified optimization modeling and derive constraints and objective functions.
