Analysis of Voltage Regulation Characteristics of AC-AC Hybrid Distribution Transformer Based on Different Converter Topologies

With the continuous improvement of power quality requirements of users, the flexibility of the distribution network is constantly tested. In this context, the voltage regulation difference of five typical direct ac/ac converters in hybrid transformer ports is analyzed in this paper. First, this paper takes the hybrid distribution transformer (HDT) model as an example to introduce the basic topology of HDT. Secondly, based on the topology, different direct ac/ac converters are selected as the power electronic components of the hybrid transformer. Meanwhile, the voltage regulating capacity of the selected ac/ac converters is analyzed, and the voltage regulating capacity difference is compared by the relationship between duty ratio and voltage gain. Then, on the basis of the above, the voltage regulation capacity of each converter in single-phase hybrid transformer is analyzed. Finally, the voltage regulation capability of five typical ac/ac converters in hybrid transformer ports is summarized and analyzed.
