Research on Current Loop Bandwidth Expansion of PMSM

This paper analyzes the internal delay of the current loop and the factors affecting the bandwidth, and proposes a method for real-time update of the PWM duty cycle. This method reduces the time delay between current sampling and PWM update by updating the duty cycle in advance, which can effectively improve the current loop bandwidth. The simulation results show that compared with the traditional current sampling and updating method, the PWM duty cycle real-time updating method can effectively improve the bandwidth and improve the dynamic response capability of the permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM) system while keeping the switching frequency unchanged.
