摘要

The variability and randomness of weather particularly changes in solar irradiance and cloud cover, are significant factors contributing to fluctuations in solar power output. The intensity of sunlight and the extent of cloud cover directly impact the efficiency of solar panels. Precise radiation forecasting is crucial for accurately predicting future renewable energy generation, especially in ultra-short-term forecasts where cloud variations are vital. Laser radar, known for its high precision and sustainability, is widely used in cloud detection. Therefore, proposing a method utilizing single-photon laser radar to measure clouds and optimizing the scanning pattern of laser radar in photovoltaic power stations can provide valuable data for analyzing cloud distribution using the radar’s echo signals. This approach allows estimating daily cloud coverage and cloud characteristics over long time scales, laying a solid foundation for predicting cloud changes and forecasting future solar radiation fluctuations.
