A Review of DC Arc Fault Diagnosis in Photovoltaic Inverter Systems

摘要

With the rapid development of renewable energy, photovoltaic (PV) power generation has been widely used as a clean and sustainable form of energy. Photovoltaic inverters, as key devices, play an important role in converting DC energy to AC energy. However, arcing faults may occur due to aging, damage, or poor contact of components inside the inverter. Arc faults not only reduce the efficiency and reliability of the PV power system, but also cause safety risks such as fires, and compared to parallel connection, series fault arcing is an important cause of fires in photovoltaic (PV) systems. Therefore, timely and accurate diagnosis of PV inverter arc faults is of great significance. This thesis review will introduce the methods, techniques, and related research results of PV inverter arc fault diagnosis, aiming to provide reference and guidance for the operation and maintenance of PV power generation systems.
