摘要

Voltage transformers occupy a paramount position within the realm of power systems, serving a multitude of critical functions such as relay protection, electrical energy metering, and power maintenance. Under the “dual-carbon” imperative, the rapid integration of new energy sources, exemplified by wind and solar power, has led to a slew of challenges for voltage transformers, such as an expanded voltage fluctuation range, increased frequency variation scope, and exacerbated harmonic disturbances. This article introduces Optical Voltage Transformers (OVTs), Capacitive Voltage Transformers (CVTs) and Electromagnetic Voltage Transformers (PTs) used in power systems. Analyzes their principles, summarizes their respective strengths and limitations, and offers a perspective on the future trajectory of voltage transformers.
