摘要

Ideal field emission (FE) materials require structures with outstanding conductivity, thermal conductivity, and a high field enhancement factor (β). To fulfill these criteria, the production of superior folded multilayer graphene (MLG) was initiated through bubble-assisted Chemical Vapor Deposition (B-CVD), followed by the fabrication of MLG cathodes using screen printing. FE characteristics of MLG cathodes with and without a silver paste layer were compared, investigating the impact of the silver paste layer introduction on cathode performance. The findings suggest that incorporating the silver layer additionally improves the overall FE properties. Subsequently, the optimal annealing temperature for the silver paste layer was identified. The optimal cathode demonstrates a current density of up to 10.5 mA/cm2, a turn-on field of 1.5 V/μm, and a threshold field of 2.65 V/μm, accompanied by outstanding reproducibility and stability.
