Theoretical Design of a Broad Band Helically Corrugated Waveguide Gyro-TWA
摘要
The results of simulation study of a Ka-band 3-fold helically corrugated waveguide (HCW) gyro-TWT operating at second harmonic TE11 mode are presented. The maximum output power of 153.7 kW at 29 GHz with a saturation gain of 28.7 dB and a 3-dB bandwidth of 3.5 GHz is achieved in PIC simulation results when driven by a 75 kV 7 A electron beam.
