Terahertz Light Field Regulation Based on Perovskite/Metasurface Composite Structure

Terahertz (THz) coded metasurfaces are widely used in detection, communication and radar. To improve the flexibility of terahertz coded metasurfaces, perovskite materials with excellent photoelectric properties are introduced into the metasurface structure. In this work, 1-bit coded metasurfaces are designed by using CST simulation software. The effects of no-light (insulating state) and optical field modulation (metallic state) on the structure phase of perovskite are analyzed. The results show that the phase can be reversed π by modulating the light field, and then controlling the wave reflection direction. In addition, the phases of optical fields with different coding structures are simulated and realize flexible control. The results show that various reduction modes of radar cross section can be realized.
