Design of Terahertz Tunable Bandpass Filter Based on High Quality Factor Resonator

摘要

In order to meet the application requirements of terahertz devices in terahertz communication, a dynamic tunable terahertz band-pass filter is designed based on the high-quality factor narrow-band resonant circuit design and extremity extraction network synthesis method. The design method of terahertz high Q narrow-band resonant circuit is discussed in detail, and the design schemes of resonators with different high Q resonant modes are compared and analyzed. In addition, the circuit modular design of the terahertz tunable bandpass filter is carried out by the integrated method of finite element method and moment method in this paper. Finally, the center operating frequency of the terahertz band-pass filter designed in this paper is 215 GHz, and the Q value calculated by simulation is 71.47, which can realize the dynamic regulation of the center operating frequency and Passband bandwidth of the filter, and the maximum moving range of the center operating frequency is 10 GHz.
