The present chapter focuses into the diverse and promising domain of biomaterials engineering. This chapter examines the production methods, characteristics, and many uses of hydroxyapatite (HA) ceramics and polymers in the biomedical area, with a specific focus on their synergistic combination. The combination of HA ceramics’ biocompatibility and mechanical strength with the flexibility and processability of polymers provides extensive solutions for tissue regeneration, drug delivery, and medical device development, ranging from orthopedic implants to tissue scaffolds. This chapter provides a thorough examination and study of HA ceramic-polymer composites, focusing on their design principles, performance enhancements, and future possibilities. By doing so, it aims to contribute to the development of revolutionary developments in biomedicine and healthcare technology.
