Current Research Overview of Modelling and Simulation of Polymer Composites
摘要
This chapter presents a thorough summary of the current research status in the dynamic field of modelling and simulation of polymer composites. The chapter examines the complex relationship between computational tools, theoretical frameworks, and experimental validation, focusing on progress in constitutive models, material characterization, and micromechanical modelling. The text explores the difficulties and advantages of using finite element analysis and multiscale simulations, highlighting the need of being able to make accurate predictions and the continuous effort to validate these predictions through experimental observations. The chapter provides an overview of future prospects, such as the incorporation of prediction analysis, investigation of bio-inspired composites, and the development of smart materials.
