摘要

The use of 3D printing technology for the fabrication of ceramics and fiber-based composites has gained significant attention in recent years due to their potential applications in the biomedical field. This book chapter presents a comprehensive report of the state-of-the-art developments in 3D printing of ceramics and fiber-based composites, and their potential use in biomedical applications. The focus is on the properties of these materials, such as their biocompatibility, mechanical strength, and thermal stability, which make them ideal for use in biomedical applications such as tissue engineering, drug delivery, and implant design. This chapter also discusses the challenges and limitations of 3D printing of ceramics and fiber-based composites, including the need for precise control of the printing process and the development of new materials with improved properties. Overall, the potential of 3D printing technology for the fabrication of ceramics and fiber-based composites for use in various biomedical applications is highlighted and insights into the current state-of-the-art in this rapidly evolving field are attempted.
