Degradation of Carbon Nanofiber-Reinforced Composite Under Loading and Environmental Conditions

This chapter concentrates on the MD simulation of carbon nanofiber-reinforced composites, with the focus on the molecular interactions, structures, and properties under different conditions. The modeling of carbon nanofiber-epoxy composites is introduced firstly. Afterwards, the mechanical responses under constant velocity loads and moisture conditions are presented. Finally, the mechanisms of loading and moisture effects, which contribute to the fundamental insights into the composites durability and performance over time.
