Molecular Modeling of Carbon Fiber-Reinforced Polymer Composite
摘要
This chapter focuses on describing the carbon fiber and different types of matrix materials used in fabricating CFRP composite. The experimental observation of these constituent materials and their bonded interfacial region are introduced firstly. Based on the experimental observation, the molecular models of carbon fiber, matrix, fiber-reinforced polymer composite, and bonded interface are developed and introduced afterwards.
