Video-Based Learning in Flipped Learning Implementation: Solution to Learning Technology Challenges

This article focuses on the research of solution to challenges resulted by conducting video-based learning to facilitate the flipped learning implementation. In a private university that supports technology-based learning, the researchers conducted this research. The data was collected by online, using Microsoft Forms filled in by the students. The questionnaires given were in two types, the first one was as rating scale, gathering information about the instruction and concepts transferred using videos, and the second as open questions, finding the students’ strategies to overcome the challenges. Collected data was used to identify implementation of flipped learning in their online class, the conducting video-based learning to transfer their learning using technology. The finding of this research will be used in higher education teaching, learning and assessment process in flipped learning implementation in Indonesia and Malaysia universities.
