Development of an Active Online Instructional Model to Enhance Digital Skills and Collaborative Skills (DiGiCo Model)

The purposes of this research were to (1) to develop an active online instructional model to enhance digital and collaborative skills; (2) to evaluate the model; and (3) to study the effects of implementing it to an instructional model. The sample group was divided into two subgroups. The first subgroup was made up of seven experts in related fields who were selected by using the purposive sampling method. The second subgroup consisted of 38 undergraduate students from Phetchaburi Rajabhat University. The active online instructional model designed to enhance digital skills and collaborative skills was called the DiGiCo model. The research results indicated that (1) the experts agreed with the objective of this study, which was to design and develop the DiGiCo model; (2) the overall mean of their opinions was at the highest level, which means that they strongly agreed with the quality of this instructional model; and (3) the experimental results of using students’ experiential opinions were at the highest level.
