摘要
This research aims to identify research trends related to technology-assisted problem-based learning (PBL) from 2001 to 2023. The descriptive bibliometric analysis method is used in this research. A total of 104 documents, according to the criteria taken from the Scopus database, were analyzed using several primaries analyzes such as publications, quotations, authors and shared words, which were grouped and visualized using VOSviewer software. The research results show that technology-assisted PBL research is increasing yearly, while the number of citations relating to technology-assisted PBL research fluctuates. Based on the quantity of documents and citations, the United States is the most significant contributing country in performing technology-assisted PBL research. This research implies that digital technology supports educational practitioners in implementing PBL, such as websites, online resources, e-learning, learning management systems, mobile technology, interactive tutorials and e-modules. The latest research also focuses on skills, active learning, hybrid learning, digital technology and 21st-century skills. For this reason, it is recommended to analyze further regarding technology-assisted PBL in facilitating 4C skills such as creative thinking, collaboration and communication.
