A Study on Challenges and Their Redressal in Supply Chain Management

Supply chain management plays an important role in the success and competitiveness of organizations. However, it is a complicated process that faces many challenges that can disrupt the efficient flow of goods, services, and information. This study’s objectives are to identify and analyze the main challenges in supply chain management and propose strategies to overcome them. The study adopts a comprehensive review of existing literature and industry reports to identify the primary challenges faced in supply chain management. These challenges include globalization and international complexities, overall costing, quality customer service, qualified personnel, demand fluctuations, inventory management, logistics and transportation, information visibility, supplier and partner relationship, sustainability and environmental concerns, and risk management.
