The Problem of the Collision of Two Elastoplastic Bodies

The self-similar problem for flat objects about impact deformation is considered an elastic–plastic half-space by a rigid body with a flat boundary. The case when irreversible deformations accumulate inside simple Riemann waves is studied. A solution with a possible wave pattern is given when the disturbance in the medium propagates using two elastic shock waves and one plastic-centered wave.
