This paper presents the design and manufacturing aspects of an electric skateboard that utilizes a 24 V power source and a BLDC hub motor controlled using an ESP8266 Wi-Fi module. This electric skateboard is a unique and innovative design that utilizes a single large wheel in the rear end of the board to provide a new and exciting riding experience. The 24 V power source and BLDC hub motor will ensure a high-power output and efficient performance, while the ESP8266 Wi-Fi module will provide wireless control and monitoring capabilities. The paper also covers the sourcing of materials, prototyping, and testing of electric skateboard to ensure the functionality of the final design. The design of skateboard includes features such as a stable platform, a reliable power source, and a control system for manoeuvring the board. The manufacturing and fabrication process involve the use of various materials such as wood, metal, and plastic to create a durable and lightweight design. To ensure a smooth and stable ride, the project will also include the implementation of a control algorithm that utilizes the ESP8266 Wi-Fi module to control the BLDC hub motor and provide real-time monitoring of the skateboard's performance. Additionally, the project also includes the development of a mobile application that allows users to remotely control and monitor the one-wheel electric skateboard.
