A test bench for multitrack cargo bikesis introduced. The test bench works with four independent drums. Vehicles with up to four wheels can be place on the test rig. The distance of the drum modules can be adjusted in length and width. Each drum has two types of adjustable impact bars to simulate a road profile or the test conditions for DIN EN 79010 and DIN EN 15194.Geometric considerations show that the greatest loads occur on the small impact bars. Therefore, a finite element analysis (FEA) is carried out for the small impact bars and their load path.
