International Chinese Language Education Policies

This chapter explores the educational policies of Teaching Chinese as a Foreign Language during new era. The era of globalization witnesses increasing people-to-people exchanges and more active cooperation. After three decades of rapid economic development, China has surpassed Japan to become the world’s second-largest economy after the United States. China needs the world, and the world needs China even more.
