The New Themes and Directions on Higher Education Internationalization in China

This chapter examines the new themes and directions on higher education internationalization in China. The deepening of globalization and internationalization of higher education has made great progress in the aspects of international exchange and cooperation, the scale and quality of students, and the improvement of the quality of education. This chapter will make a deep analysis of the development of higher education internationalization in China based on domestic and foreign literature research and China's policy since the new century. However, behind the remarkable achievements, the development of higher education internationalization in China still faces some challenges and problems, including the instability of cross-cultural development of higher education in a complex and changeable international environment, the uncertainty of higher education informatization development brought by the change of learning mode in the post-pandemic era.
