Proposed Hybrid Approach Using Swarm Intelligence in VANETs
摘要
One of the mobile ad hoc networks’ (MANETs) specific category is vehicle ad hoc networks (VANETs) which are designed to meet the communication requirements of moving vehicles. Vehicle-to-vehicle (V2V) and vehicle-to-roadside infrastructure (V2I) communication is made possible by the vehicles’ dual roles as mobile nodes and routers in VANETs. This creates a dynamic and self-organizing network. Road safety, traffic efficiency, and value-added services for drivers and passengers are the main objectives of VANETs. Different routing protocols are used to transport data between VANET participating nodes. Algorithms based on swarm intelligence (SI) are widely used to determine the best VANET solution. Two well-liked methods among the several approaches are particle swarm optimization (PSO) and ant colony optimization (ACO).
