Genetic Algorithm & Decision Table Base Intrusion Detection
摘要
From the perspective of security policy, intrusion detection systems are a second line of defence; they play a supervisory function in monitoring our network’s or hosts’ activity to detect assaults in real-time. These days, cyberattacks have the potential to do enormous harm to countries, necessitating the implementation of comprehensive security measures to reduce the risk. IDS is a crucial component in fending against this vulnerability. We examine a networked dataset, KYOTO 2006+, in conjunction with the Genetic Algorithm. Enhancing the performance of the current work is the primary goal of the suggested effort. A Waikato Environment for Knowledge Analysis (WEKA) data mining tool has been employed. The outcome demonstrates the suggested work’s superior efficacy above CART’s current efforts.
