Emergency Evacuation Information System Using IoT
摘要
This research aims to improve Emergency Evacuation Information Systems (EEIS) using IoT technologies to enhance emergency preparedness and response. The study identifies the inadequacies of existing evacuation systems, resulting in delays, inadequate information dissemination, and suboptimal resource allocation. The study integrates IoT devices, such as sensors and communication modules, within evacuation routes and centers to facilitate real-time data collection, processing, and communication. The findings show that IoT significantly enhances the effectiveness of emergency evacuation systems, enabling authorities to make informed decisions, optimize routes, and allocate resources efficiently. However, limitations related to cost, power consumption, and network coverage should be considered in future implementations. Future work should explore cost-effective IoT solutions, energy-efficient devices, and AI for predictive analysis.
