Interaction Between Terahertz Wave and Biomolecules

Terahertz electromagnetic wave can interact with biomolecules and hence affect the characteristic and behavior of them, consequently, it may be possible to use terahertz electromagnetic wave to modulate the molecule to achieve the purpose of changing the energy states and varying the structures. By molecule dynamics simulation, the effects of terahertz wave on biomolecules can be theoretically verified, and the mechanics behind them can be understood. The idea of terahertz wave can provide a new method to control and modulate the molecules for the field of biology, medicine, etc.
