摘要

The transmission characteristics of 4mm chopped carbon fibers (diameter 7μm), 4μm alumina powder, and 4μm copper powder were investigated using terahertz time-domain spectroscopy and Fourier transform spectroscopy. To mitigate the absorption of the samples on terahertz radiation, the samples were mixed with polyethylene at certain proportions and compressed into pellets. The terahertz time-domain Spectroscopy covered the frequency range of 0.1 to 2 THz, while the Fourier transform spectroscopy covered 2 to 10 THz. By concatenating the two spectral segments, the transmittance and mass extinction coefficients of the three types of mix-powder pellets at different concentrations were obtained over the entire terahertz frequency range (0.1 to 10 THz).
