Experience Shapes the Arithmetic Brain
摘要
Studies have shown that Chinese children process numbers differently from their Western counterparts. This chapter focuses on experience-related effects in simple arithmetic and their neural correlates. We can conclude that learning strategies and content are critical factors to shape the Chinese arithmetic brain.
