Training Efficiency Application for Buah Pertama Seni Silat Cekak Malaysia Using Motion Capture Approach

This paper uses the motion capture approach to develop an application of Buah Pertama Seni Silat Cekak Malaysia (SSCM) training efficiency. This Silat Cekak method's effectiveness is evaluated by assessing its angular acceleration and velocity. The tracking of 32 markers on the lower body joints of the practitioner in UniMAP's BioMechanical lab is done by employing Motion Capture (MoCap) technology. Three expert practitioners from the SSCM are the subjects for motion capture analysis. The motion capture analysis objective is to recognize potential zones for betterment. Moreover, it could be an asset for other SSCM practitioners in elevating their training methods and overall effectiveness. The facts obtained from this paper may be employed to appraise the abilities of both senior and junior practitioners through application development. The outcome of this paper is an application developed to assist the Buah Pertama SSCM training efficiency determination.
