Shock Melting and Degassing Reactions
摘要
This chapter describes melting, degassing, and decomposition reactions. Melting occurs along the Hugoniot curve when it crosses the melting curve at high temperature and high pressure. The reaction boundaries of degassing and decomposition change with increasing temperature and pressure. They meet across the Hugoniot curve and/or on the release path from the Hugoniot states. These reactions play an important role in shock chemistry.
