Task Scheduling Cost Evaluation over Cloud with Using GA, ACO, PSO

摘要

In today’s world, cloud services have reached every industry and are being utilized by them that can be understandable as the number of users is increasing every second in cloud. It also creates a burden on vendors to manage resource allocation and task scheduling which is a big problem. Task scheduling in cloud computing involves the best allocation of computing resources to tasks and to optimize the overall performance of the system. This process is critical in the context of cloud computing, where tasks can be highly dynamic, with varying resource requirements and deadlines. The main work of task scheduling is to make sure that the tasks are finished within the desired time frame and resource utilization is optimized. Our contribution in this paper is to provide the cost evaluation of resource allocation during the scheduling. Therefore, several algorithms and techniques have been developed by researchers to address scheduling challenges and optimize task scheduling in the cloud. We have also discussed the key challenges within task scheduling in the cloud, such as resource allocation, load balancing, and optimization. Finally, we examine the cost required per task to get a schedule and compare them all on the basis of different algorithms.
