Difficulties and Countermeasures in the Construction Technology of Long Distance Undercrossing of Lakes with Pipe Jacking in Complex Strata

As a commonly used construction technology in water conservancy engineering construction in China, the pipe jacking method has been widely used in a large number of underpass urban roads, rivers, and lakes. However, there are many technical difficulties and a lack of systematic analysis and summary for the engineering conditions of long-distance penetration of complex formations through lakes. Therefore, based on the Pearl River Delta Water Resource Allocation Project Dongguan Supporting Songshan Lake Water Plant Phase I Pipe Jacking Tunnel Undercrossing Songshan Lake Project, this article analyzes and summarizes in detail the technical difficulties and countermeasures of long-distance pipe jacking construction in complex strata, providing reference for similar projects.
