摘要

Carbon fiber reinforced plastics are widely used in fields such as aerospace and construction. Acoustic emission technique is a non-destructive monitoring technique that can be used to locate the damage position of carbon fiber reinforced plastics under loading conditions. To investigate the load bearing capacity of riveted carbon fiber panels, vertical loads were applied to the panels and AE signals were collected. The spatiotemporal evolution of damage on carbon fiber reinforced plastics plane is achieved by using velocity-free acoustic emission source localization method. The results indicate that the damage of riveted carbon fiber reinforced plastics is mainly concentrated at the riveting point, then expanding to both sides, when vertical pressure is applied.
