A Dynamic BIM Modeling Framework for Railway Station Subgrade
摘要
In recent years, Building Information Modeling (BIM) technology is being rapidly popularized in the domain of railway engineering design, and many railway projects have used BIM model as one of the delivery standards for providing design results. However, the BIM modeling for railway station subgrade (RSS) still mainly relies on manual operation, which results in a tedious and time-consuming modeling process. Moreover, the BIM model created by manual work can hardly be modified according to the frequent design changes. In this study, a dynamic BIM modeling framework is introduced for achieving the purposes of quick BIM modeling and efficient modification for RSS. By using the proposed method, two major problems in RSS BIM modeling are tackled: the quick BIM modeling based on the original 2D design and the partial update of the model according to a design change, which greatly facilitates the BIM application in the railway station domain. Furthermore, this study provides a BIM standard fundament of the railway station domain, by which other railway facilities can be extended in future, such as drainage and track.
