An Automatic Testing Technique for Railway Signal Devices

摘要

In the railway signal field, low software testing automatization extent fails to cater to the current railway’s fast development and gradually becomes a technique bottleneck in need of enhancement stringently. The paper presented an automatic testing technique adapted specially to railway devices, such as TSRS, RBC, TCC and so on, firstly by building a model to convert complicated railway data to a linear format, to help generate testing cases automatically, and secondly in the proposal of a testing engine depending on application protocol with advanced performance to simplify the upper layer functionalities implementation for automatic testing execution, and hence gave a comprehensive solution of automatic testing technique for railway signal devices. Next, detailed design and architecture principles elaborate how the model works, and reliability, and performance before and after using the model are compared using nearly 20 practical engineering applications considering various scenarios. Finally, the limitations and future research are presented.
