Safety Risk Assessment of Shenzhen-Zhongshan Bridge Project During Operation
摘要
As a world-class “bridge-tunnel-island-underground interchange” project, the Shenzhen-Zhongshan Bridge project presents more severe operational risks compared to general cross-sea transportation projects. Therefore, it is necessary to conduct a risk assessment of the project’s operation. This study investigates and identifies the major risk events, probability of occurrence, and level of risk loss that the tunnel, bridge, and artificial island in the Shenzhen-Zhongshan Bridge project may face during operation. This study also establishes an evaluation method for the risk level of single risk events for different structures during operation and an overall risk evaluation method for the structures. The main achievements of this study are: (1) evaluating the risk level of single risk events for the submarine tunnel, cross-sea bridge, and artificial islands in the Shenzhen-Zhongshan Bridge project, and (2) determining the overall operational risk level of the project based on the results of the single risk event evaluation. This study provides support for the operational safety risk assessment of similar major transportation infrastructure.
