Buckling and Post-buckling Analyses of Porous Composite Plates
摘要
In the present work, buckling and post-buckling analyses of porous composite plates with porosity varying along the thickness direction and along the plane of the plate are carried out using the first-order shear deformation theory-based 8-noded isoparametric finite element. The effect of porosity is modeled by considering the material properties as functions of x, y, z coordinates. The buckling and post-buckling problems are formulated and solved as linear and non-linear eigenvalue problems. Based on the FE formulation, a MATLAB code is developed. The effect of porosity type/levels on the buckling and post-buckling behavior is investigated.
