摘要

The dynamic behavior of cells in biological systems is an area of significant interest in the field of biomechanics. Dynamic characteristics of such systems are largely dependent on the concept of scaling and slenderness ratio. The current study investigates the influence of scaling factors and slenderness regime on the natural frequency of the cylindrical and cuboidal cell models. Three approaches: Lumped mass system, Finite element model (FEM) using MATLAB and numerical approach using Ansys are used to determine the fundamental natural frequencies. Analysis indicates a noticeable difference in the results obtained by numerical approach using Ansys and the other two approaches for bulky cell models.
