Design of Glycol Reboiler and Analysis of Internal Pipe Structure

The primary goal of the project is to design a boiler in accordance with ASME standards using CATIA software, as well as to do thermal analysis and model analysis on the internal pipe structure using ANSYS software and various materials on the pipes to determine heat flow and natural frequency. In this reboiler, impurities in the glycol are heated by an electric heat coil in order to separate them from the glycol, and an internal pipe is employed to allow the stripping gas to flow. This internal pipe is crucial to the reboiler's ability to efficiently extract contaminants from glycol. Therefore, adequate maintenance is necessary to minimize the damage to the internal pipe of the reboiler. In order to determine the heat flow and vibrations on the reboiler internal pipe structure and to choose the best material to withstand deformation and heat energy flow in the internal pipe structure, the results were compared.
