Realized Social Economic Benefits of Industrial Ecology: A Study on Textile Industry
摘要
This chapter goes into great detail about socio-economic benefits and industrial ecology in the context of the textile industry. This study would shed light on the cultural, regulatory, market, and technological hurdles that prevent the textile industry from fully embracing industrial ecology and how these adaptations have succeeded. Industrial ecology makes ecological and human systems work together in a good way for the economy, the environment, and society. After that, an in-depth look at the previous research lays the theoretical groundwork for the study. Additionally, it explores the difficulties that make it hard to recycle textiles and handle trash. Qualitative research is being conducted; data have been collected from various representatives via surveys, interviews, and open-ended questions.
