A Study of AI-Based Systems in the Judicial Interpretation of the Law

ML, DL, neural networks, NLP, computer vision, and robotics are just a few of the examples of recent breakthroughs in the field of AI, which has seen significant advancements in recent years. These approaches are already being aggressively implemented in the judicial system, and it is anticipated that a significant portion of the legal service operations that are presently being carried out by attorneys will be taken over by AI in the years to come. The possible uses and effectiveness of AI in the execution of justice are investigated in this research. The purpose of this study is twofold: first, to examine the ethical issues that AI faces in the judicial system; second, to highlight the limits of AI in the judiciary via some instances of AI tools that have recently been produced. AI searching tools, for example, are one way that AI algorithms are beginning to assist attorneys and judges. AI algorithms are also beginning to assist court administrations with automated prediction and company analytics based on computational analysis of big data. Legal knowledge-based technologies that use the notion of AI have the potential to speed up the supply of legal services by shifting the focus from the traditional searching of relevant cases to the extraction of specific information in a tailored manner.
