Examination of Sustainability 4.0 with Special Reference to International Legal Doctrines
摘要
Enabling Sustainability 4.0 is the efficient implementation of cutting-edge innovations that include the Internet of Things (IoT), artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning (ML), augmented reality, big data (BD), additive production (AD), and other contemporary innovations. Due to the efficient use of natural resources and energy with less waste, these technologies facilitate significantly cheaper services. Producers are always searching for ways to reduce the operational costs related to their manufacturing procedures. Implementing Sustainability 4.0 technologies could help manufacturers optimize their value chain's production and related processes. These technologies will aid manufacturers in selecting the optimal facilities and personnel, reducing operational costs, boosting productivity and resource utilization, and identifying gaps that can be resolved. Sustainability is predicated on the efficient use and reuse of resources throughout the entire product life cycle, including resources, procedures, machinery, and skills. Sustainable production is the creation of green products through cost-effective processes that minimize adverse environmental impacts while conserving power and natural assets. This paper describes Sustainability 4.0 and its essential requirements. Finally, we selected some of the international environmental sustainability Doctrines or standards that act as guidelines or Doctrines for the nations to follow to achieve SDGs. Thus, the use of environmentally friendly practices, cutting-edge technologies, and environmental legal Doctrines will aid in resolving environmental, social, and economic development issues.
