Nanotech Drones: An Investigation of Air Quality Index in Environment

摘要

The evergreen growing science and technology is moving the cities towards smarter world rapidly with the smart buildings coming up and are known as smart cities. The researchers and leaders of the world are concerned with the increasing global warming due to air pollution and various gases emitted. Heavy metals, i.e. mercury, lead, silver, and cadmium will be carried away by air and their sources include industrial and mining waste, vehicle emissions, fertilizers, and batteries (acid). These heavy metal pollutants are poisonous, and neurotoxic with least concentrations. The pollutant consists of nitrogen oxides, particle matter, carbon monoxide, ozone, and formaldehyde, volatile organic compounds, and sulphur dioxide. These pollutants are gathered from certain fixed locations such as factory communities or mobile emissions. In this study of air pollutant, nanotech drone monitors the pollutants, and nanoparticles are used in filter for collecting the waste minute dust and pollutants (particulate matter and carbon monoxide) from the atmosphere. This drone has a limitation to suck pollutants of PM and CO with the flying distance of 10 km within the residential—gated community and tower buildings, hospitals and/or institutional campus and/or shopping malls.
