The Geriatric’s Journey: Unveiling the Link Between Perceived Stress and Mental Well-Being of Retirees and Non-retirees Using Python Data Inquiry
摘要
Retirement is a multifaceted process that is a part of everyday life; however, it has been identified as a stressor for retirees. A person's well-being and health are connected to the transition from working to retiring, which might be seen as a natural change from one stage of life to another or as a particular event that could cause an identity crisis. To study the effects of perceived stress and mental well-being between retirees and non-retirees in the senior group with the mediating role of family support, the participants were retired and non-retired and ranged in age from 58 to 65. Responses were recorded on a questionnaire schedule. Three scales, i.e., the Perceived Stress Scale, Mental Well-Being Scale, and Family Support Scale were applied. Relationship was examined using Python data inquiry which helps in data visualization. A company may employ tools for data analytics to examine uncooked data and identify trends to generate meaningful insights. The findings emphasize the importance of family support which may assist in lowering perceived stress and enhancing mental health. According to the findings, retirees and non-retirees are predicted to experience different levels of stress. Implications The caliber of life of an aged person may act as a buffer against the negative relationship between distress and wellness. This research has implications for public policies, especially in the context of senior health care, family support, and financial stability.
